A New Kind of Car Event for the Capital
Welcome to Capital Cruise, a four-day celebration of car culture in the heart of the country.
From Hot Rods and Muscle Cars to Modern Classics and Special Interest Vehicles, Capital Cruise brings together car lovers for a weekend of cruising, camaraderie, and good old-fashioned fun.
Why Capital Cruise?
Held at Davis Field, Trentham, this late-November event is perfectly timed for great weather and a prime central location, ideal for enthusiasts from both the North and South Islands. It’s a fresh take on the traditional car event, featuring scenic cruises, a different kind of poker run, themed gatherings, and a massive public park-up show on Sunday.
More Than Just a Cruise
The inaugural event embraces a Mexican theme, with prizes for the best costumes at Saturday night’s Capital Cruise Catch Up.
We’re also proud to support the Child Cancer Foundation, with a portion of proceeds from this year’s event donated to help their incredible work.

Capital Cruise was created by a team of passionate car enthusiasts who wanted to bring something new and exciting to the Wellington region.
