We are thrilled to announce a brand new four-day car event coming to the heart of the country, Wellington, called Capital Cruise! Mark your calendars for November 27th to 30th, 2025. Capital Cruise will have something for you whether you're passionate about Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Modern Classics or Cars of Special Interest.
Why Capital Cruise you may ask? Centrally located and held in late November, the weather will be pleasant, there are no other multiday car events on and Capital Cruise offers easy access for car lovers from both North and South. We will be celebrating all kinds of cars, from classics to modern marvels. Capital Cruise has been created by a group of like-minded-car-loving-gearheads, who wanted to share a good, clean, fun weekend with similar people. It will be the first of its kind and offers a novel format that will set it apart from other events.
If you are into Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Modern Classics or Cars of Special Interest, then this is an event for you to take part in. There is a Mexican theme for the inaugural event, with prizes for Best Costumes at our Capital Cruise Catch Up on Saturday evening.
Based at Davis Field in Trentham, Upper Hutt, Capital Cruise is set to become an annual event and we have teamed up with the Child Cancer Foundation, with a portion of the proceeds from our first event, to be donated to them.
