As part of entering "Capital Cruise" or "the event" you agree to all rules and conditions as set out below. You also agree that you are responsible for those who you bring to the event and that they will also abide by the rules and conditions as set out. You understand that the organisers have the right to decline any person/s for any reason they see fit. You agree to abide by the rules of the event and follow the instructions of the Promoter, the Organisers or the Marshals at all times.

Entry to the event and all activities associated with Capital Cruise, will be by way of Wristband and or Capital Cruise Screen Decal. No Wristband and/or Screen Decal, will mean 'No Entry'.

Entrants must wear the Wristband, that they receive at Registration, at all times during the event. Failure to do so will result in you not being able to take part in the event. Replacement Wristbands are not available for lost,  destroyed or stolen Wristbands unless proof of purchase is presented.

Capital Cruise Event Screen Decals must be prominently displayed on the front windscreen of the vehicle, but in a location where it will not impede the drivers vision. Replacement Screen Decals are not available for lost, destroyed or stolen Decals unless proof of purchase is presented.

There is no Alcohol permitted at the Capital Cruise Park Up on Sunday, this also applies to Drugs for the duration of the event. No Drinking and Driving or Driving under the influence.

As part of the entry process for the event, the Promoter and/or Organiser will need to collect some of your personal details along with your IP address, which will be used for communication in regards to the event going forward. This information will not be passed on or sold to third parties, with the exception of the Upper Hutt City Council or the NZ Police.

You agree that the Promoter or Organisers are not liable for any damage to or loss of a vehicle or personal property during the event. By Entering, you agree to indemnify the Promoter or Organisers against any liability, loss or damage that you may suffer or cause arising out of your negligence or breach of the Rules and Conditions for the event. Vehicles are entered at the owners risk and the Promoter or Organisers will not be responsible for any loss, damage or otherwise of your property.

All participants are responsible for their own insurance.

You agree that images or photographs taken of you, your vehicle or your possessions, while you are at the event may be used by the Promoter for their own or future purposes.

There will be no Refunds. Entrants will not Sell, Swap or Trade entry tickets with anyone else, unless we (the Promoter) have authorized this prior to the event taking place, otherwise those who you have given your tickets to, may risk non entry.

If by chance we are forced to Postpone or Cancel all or part of the event, e.g. for poor weather conditions, a pandemic, an illness outbreak or another government imposed regulation that forces us to cancel or postpone the event, your entry fee will be held as a credit for a future event.

Yes you must have a Road Legal vehicle to be able to enter Capital Cruise, that is a current Warrant of Fitness and Registration for that vehicle. As part of the event you will be driving on public roads, there will also be an increased Police presence during the event. You must wear your Seatbelts while driving and obey all New Zealand Road Rules. No Skids, No Burnouts, No Dangerous driving of any kind and No Speeding, otherwise you will be removed from the event.

As mentioned, you will need to comply with the Law and all of the New Zealand Road Rules. If you are driving erratically, speeding, doing skids or driving dangerously, the Promoter has the right to remove you or your passengers from the event. Removal from the event will also apply if you are Drinking and Driving, this obviously applies if you are driving under the influence of drugs as well. We want to hold a good, clean event so please take note.

The Promoter or the Organiser has the right to evict any entrant or passenger from the Capital Cruise event, if the Promoter or Organisers believes, in their sole discretion, that you are in breach of any of the Terms and Conditions of the event. Any poor behaviour, irresponsible driving and or conduct deemed objectionable to the events well-being may result in participant/s being denied any further involvement in the event and or future events. If this happens, your entrance fee will not be recoverable by you and you will have no claim against the Promoter or Organiser. 

There are No Pets/Dogs permitted to enter Davis Field, the area where we are holding a number of the events that make up Capital Cruise, including Registration, Social Get-togethers, the Capital Cruise Catch Up or the Capital Cruise Park up on Sunday. Registered Service Animals are however allowed. This will be strictly monitored and adhered to. You may be asked to leave if you breach this.

No Smoking or Vaping on Davis Field or in their Clubrooms please.

Tents, Marquees or Pop up Shelters will not be allowed at the Capital Cruise Park Up for liability reasons, for example a Marquee blowing over on to someone else's vehicle. Prior approval from the Promoter will need to be sought, if you have a Tent or Marquee erected.

Cars or Vehicles on Trailers, will not be allowed onto Davis Field at the Capital Cruise Park Up on Sunday, unless by prior arrangement.
