This is the Inaugural Capital Cruise, a Four Day Car event, that will see around 500 cars enter and take part. There are four main types of vehicle that can enter the event , Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Modern Classics and Cars of Special Interest. 

A Poker Run, a Mystery Cruise and a Car show are all part of the event as well.

There will be a Mexican theme, for the Capital Cruise Catch up on Saturday evening, so Vamos or Rapido and get behind it.

Capital Cruise is set to become an Annual Event, so get involved and be part of the first ever Capital Cruise.

It's an opportunity to meet up with old friends, make new friends or to simply enjoy a great weekend.

Capital Cruise Overview

There is a Car Show, the Capital Cruise Park Up, that the public are welcome to attend. It is on Sunday 30th November 2025 from 9.00am, at Davis Field, Trentham, Upper Hutt. If you want to come and see some cool cars, then this is the Show for you to have a look at.

There's a Band, there's a Capital Cruise Best Dressed Competition to enter, there will be Stalls and there will be also be Food for sale. You get the opportunity to vote for the Car that you think is Best in Show, with the People's Choice award.

Public Entry Fee is $10.00 per Adult on the day, Kids are $5.00 or a Family pass is $25.00. 

No Pets/Dogs allowed onto Davis Field, which is where the Show is being held. 

We will have Traffic Management in place on Sunday, there will be some spectator parking available, at no charge.

Capital Cruise Park Up, Sunday 30th November

In order to be able to participate in the Capital Cruise event, you must enter a vehicle, prior to the event taking place. There are a number of Car Runs and Fun activities as part of the event, that you will be able to take participate in. Two Car Runs, activities along the way, Social Gatherings and a Car Show to top it all off.
